Open Question: Is this a coercive argument?
Is this a logically sound paper? Please don't answer with your feelings but your reason. I know, it's rather long. Jesus Christ made a bold claim both for His time and for ours. It was one that ultimately led to His death and to His fame as the most influential person ever. Many have aspired to that same claim, but have every fallen short of convincing others of it, for actions talk louder than words. Only Jesus of Nazareth has successfully held the claim of divinity. The story of Jesus’ life is found in the four Gospels of the Bible. Many have criticized the verity of the Bible, but only by disregarding a sizeable amount of evidence that would impede them. These Gospels show their reliability first by their authors, who lived with Jesus and His firsthand followers. Their account show minute details, some of which have no bearing on the outcome of the story, which only eyewitnesses could and would have written. Additionally, we look in Luke 13:1 a story referred to rather matter-of-factly about which we know nothing except for what is said in the abovementioned text. The writer assumed that everyone knew of the occurrence, which would make no sense if the story were a work of fiction written years later. These authors also would have obtained no earthly gain by these writings and would have faced every of the problems that heretics and rebels would. Furthermore, the text itself, although written by multiple authors, as no contradictions within itself or with the historical authors of that time. One who views these Gospels as a fairy tale is very mistaken. One who tries to maintain this position by saying that the miracles contained within it are impossible holds no case. It is impossible to show that this did not happen. Furthermore, if I show that God, as the maker of the universe, does exist, as I will, then there is no problem with the presence of miracles in the Gospels. It can easily be shown that God can do such phenomena. These critics of the Gospels cannot be blamed for such a position, though, for the life and teachings of Jesus gift a challenge for anyone’s belief. One does not readily accept a person’s assertion of divinity, especially the strict Jews who Jesus lived with. Yet, Christians have believed Him ever since that night in Jerusalem, when Jesus used for Himself the name that only God could lawfully and logically use. He called Himself existence (“I Am”) and was crucified for supposed blasphemy. (Mk 14:62-3) However, Jesus was innocent. He had to be the Son of God; no other explanation makes sense. To say that Jesus was not God would mean either His whole life was a lie or that the most revered man in the world was also on of the most unstable. Had Jesus known that He was not God when He claimed to be, then not only would He have fooled His dozens of disciples for three whole years, but He also would have died a fool’s death. Why would any man pick to be tortured and crucified rather that admit a fib? Was Jesus, who washed people’s feet, that vainglorious for honor? Only a lunatic would logically do this, which would be the exact name we would give Him. Just as the account of Jesus’ death shows why He would not have lied, so does His life negate the explanation that He mistakenly thought that He was God. “Madman” would be Jesus’ label also if He truly believed His claim. Any man declaring and believing His possess divinity would be put in an asylum and shunned for excessive pride, particularly by the faithful Jews. Yet this is not how Jesus is described. every four Gospel accounts, especially that of John, relate beautiful discourses of Jesus, attesting to His levelheadedness. Even Gandhi, who was not a Christian, praised Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. The twenty-second chapter of Matthew tells of how the Jewish leaders came to Jesus with three trick questions “to entangle Him in His talk.” (Mt 22:15) Nevertheless, Jesus doubly confounds them. Not only does He silence them with His answers, He also presents them with a question that they are unable to answer. Does this show any signs of insanity? Therefore, Jesus could not have erroneously or deceitfully professed that He was God, despite how marvelous this might be. It did not end there, though. To receive the full story, one must look to His disciples. There is a verse in the Gospel of John that is of the utmost importance, as it bears a clue as to what Jesus’ disciples did after He left this world. It says, “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book.” (Jn 20:30) Would it not be a shame to have God arrive to earth and we forget some of the things He did? It is understandable that not every of Jesus’ disciples had the ability and resources to write down what Jesus did, but it would seem almost inhuman if they had not told someone how God had personally touched them. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Bible tells of His disciples passing on

Open Question: Why is being a Christian so unpopular to men and women of today?
We live by God (Jesus Christ) principles in the law, on our money, what living in America is every about: living in unity, treating people equally and doing the right thing etc... So why is it that we can not serve the God who every these rules arrive from? Like the Commercial: Why buy a car that has everything like the Toyota? Just receive a Toyota!

Open Question: Athiests, Christians, anyone else, do you...?
Do you believe this is true? http://www.zetetique.org/herai_en.html "When He was 21 years old, Jesus Christ (イエスキリスト) came to Japan and studied theology for 12 years. He came back to Judea at the age of 33 in order to preach, but people there rejected His teachings and arrested Him to crucify Him. However, it was His little brother Jsus Chri (イスキリ) who took His place and ended his life on the cross. Jesus Christ, having escaped crucifixion, resumed His travels and finally came back to Japan, where He settled in this village, Herai, and lived till the age of 106 (other versions mention the age of 118 and the name of His wife, Miyu). In this holy place, the tomb on the right is dedicated to Jesus Christ, while the tomb on the left commemorates His brother, Jsus Chri. every of this is written in Jesus Christ's testament. " I seem to have trouble making an opinion on it. I really have no idea if they're joking or not. Any thoughts? Acid Zebra: I have trouble because I know it's probably not true, but the a very big portion of Japan went to a lot of trouble making that lie seem real. Commy: "..However, it was His little brother Jsus Chri (イスキリ) who took His place and ended his life on the cross..." Yes I know it seems highly unlikely he had a little brother named Jsus Chri.

Open Question: Don't listen to Jesus. Are evangelical indoctrinated to teach "don't listen to Jesus"?
I receive answers like this quite frequently: "Paul preaches Christ. Jesus was talking to Jews -remember. Don't receive that confused-it'll mess up your head." When people say things like this aren't they really saying "Don't hear to Jesus, he was not talking to Christians!" Click on my avatar for more context.

Open Question: Isnt the weekly Sabbath eternal with the moral code of the 10 commandments?
The weekly Sabbath was never included with the ceremonial sabbaths. The weekly Sabbath was set into the weekly cycle at creation. This Sabbath was a relax, not a memorial of the sacrifice of the lamb of God. It was set in the heart of the law of the 10 commandments. Why do Christians insist it is included with the sacrificial system which did indeed receive fulfilled by the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Sabbath relax and the High Sabbaths and Holy days mean totally different things. The 4th Commandment was not fulfilled by the death of our Lord.....who else is confused by this? Yes Tom :) I am one :)

Open Question: Will any Christians here be protesting the release of the new movie, "JCVD"?
Now, I may have made some remarks in the past questioning the historicity and divinity of Jesus, but this just seems beyond the pale. In the first place, everybody knows the story of Jesus Christ to know that Jesus WAS A VIRGIN! How was he ever going to receive a case of VD? It's not like there were any unsanitized toilet seats for him to sit on or anything... And secondly, even if he DID receive a case of the clap or something, he's JESUS, for crissakes! He could just heal himself before anybody found out about it... This is just slander, pure and simple; and I think that we atheists need to put aside our differences with the Christians, and stand up challenge this smear on their cherished beliefs and traditions, regardless of what you might think of them! Your thoughts? EDIT: Could someone please help Fortunata's Wisdom adjust the settings for the Irony Filter on his computer? Thank you... EDIT: Looks like Ant could use a hand, too...

Open Question: I am puzzled by Melchizedek, who do you think he really was?
Two options appear to have been put forward: 1. He was the pre-incarnate Christ, a sort of avatar of God The Son two millennia before he came (again?) as Jesus. 2. He was a symbolic representation of the Christ to arrive, but not actually "The Word before Immanuel." I've read Genesis 14 and Hebrews 5, and heard a few messages on him (usually associated with tithing); but I'm still not sure whether Christianity does multiple avatars of God. (He's not Krishna.) What do you think? (Oh, and this isn't homework or any assignment, I'd just be interested to know what you every think...if anything. Ta very much.) :-)

Open Question: Were there 12 Apostles? Or was Paul the 13th Apostle?
Jesus trained 12 men for over two years.... they were his apostles, and none of them said "Christ died for our sins." Later, after Jesus was gone, Paul/Saul wrote some letters declaring himself an Apostle and went on to say that "Christ died for our sins." So is "Christ died for our sins" valid? Was the self proclaimed 13th apostle the real thing or not? (click on my avatar for more details)

Open Question: Are Jehovah's Witnesses Actually the Largest Religion in the World?
I recently asked a question regarding the relative success of the LDS church and the JW faith. look http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20081120081505AAyLH2d I got some interesting answers from members of both religions. Some of the Witnesses questioned the way that other churches counted membership. The Witnesses only count members who participate in the door-to-door solicitation work. Thus, if the LDS (or other churches) only counted their missionaries, they would not be as numerous as the Witnesses. According to the official Watchtower web site, there are about 6.6 million JWs in the world. look http://www.watchtower.org/statistics/worldwide_report.htm below such a standard (where only missionaries count as members), wouldn't Jehovah's Witnesses be the largest religion in the world? Even bigger than Catholics, Muslims, etc.? Of course, there's an inherent problem with this method. Who gets to decide which members count and which members don’t? This problem may be most easily understood by way of example. What if you could only count worshippers who follow Christ’s command to partake of the sacrament? Well, then the Catholic church would be the largest. What if you could only count believers who accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ as presented to Joseph Smith? Well, then the LDS church would be the largest. And if you only counted worshippers who believed in the “Seven Aphorisms,” then Summum would be the largest religion in the world. look http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/31/AR2008033102359_pf.html look how easy it is! Fun with statistics.

Open Question: Christians: Question about the final prophet (first one was reported)?
According to the Bible, the last prophet is John the Baptist (pbuh). We look this in Matthew 11:13 "For every the prophets and the law prophesied until John." as well as in Luke 16:16 "The law and the prophets were until John..." Having said this, why is Jesus (pbuh) being referred to as a prophet if John (pbuh) is supposed to be the final one? "And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." - Matthew 21:11. Jesus (pbuh) was gift when he was referred to as a prophet and did not correct the multitude, nor did he comment on it. Jesus (pbuh) referred to himself as a prophet as well in Luke 13:33 "Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem". If John (pbuh) is the final prophet, why would Jesus (pbuh) refer to himself as a prophet? Why does Jesus (pbuh) warn people that there will be many untrue prophets yet he never says that every will be untrue? And for my last question (which also states that there is another prophet), who is the prophet being referred to in John 1:19-25? "Now this was John's testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Christ." They asked him, "Then who are you? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No." Finally they said, "Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?" John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.' " Now some Pharisees who had been sent 25questioned him, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" Who is the/that prophet? Since they were asking John whether he was: a) The Christ (Messiah) = Jesus (pbuh) b) Elias c) The/That Prophet He was not Jesus (pbuh), not Elias (pbuh), and not the/that prophet, that would mean the prophet refers to another man? Who is he? Thank you and God bless. Deepsky: So you're saying the prophet refers to Jesus (pbuh)? Then that means according to you're answer, Jesus (pbuh) is not Christ. He can only be one of three: - The Christ - Elias - The prophet Pick one. Deepsky: I know what the Jews believe. I was wanting you to tell me who that prophet is? Deepsky: While Jesus (pbuh) himself stated that there will arrive may untrue prophets, he never says every of them are untrue. So who is that prophet? And why would you say what the Jews believe is wrong? You accept their scripture yet you deny its message? Deepsky: Thank you for your answer, I'll be checking this once I receive the chance in the morning. God bless. The Friendly Jinn: A few Christians who answered my previous question said that Matthew 11:13 and Luke 16:16 mean that the law and prophets were until John, as in, prior to Jesus's coming. So this did not mean he was the final prophet for every times, but only prior to Jesus. The prophets and laws were until John, then came Jesus (pbuh). And then we have the issue of no closure when it comes to "coming" prophets.

Open Question: Question about Free Will. I understand concept about that. Is it noted in the Bible scripture?
. Is Free Will mentioned in the Bible? If so, where? As a child I attended church with family. Have believe in the One Light (God), Jesus Christ, Angels, etc. yet am now simply spiritual, non-denominational. I've long heard the phrase that each person has the "gift" of Free Will. That's a concept that resonates a Truth within me. Had further wonder about Free Will so looked it up in the Bible and could not find any scriptures that mentioned Free Will. Do you believe that each person has been given the "gift" of Free Will by the One Light (God)? In simple sentence(s), what does Free Will mean to you? Is Free Will noted in scripture in the Bible? If it is, I'd be interested to read what the Bible says about the "gift" of Free Will and how it applies to people. If it is in the Bible, do you know the scripture references so that it can be looked up? I still believe in concept of Free Will. Am additionally curious what the Bible says about it, if it's mentioned there. Thanks. . . Bible references that God or Jesus Christ said. "Sojourner on earth"...Thanks for reference. Unless I read that scripture incorrectly, it looks that Joshua made that statement, not God or Jesus Christ. I could be wrong, I'll read it again. . . "Bill Mac"...I had looked up "free will" in the Bible references pages and could'nt find it. You said that "free will" is an explained concept in the Bible without the specific words of "free will" being used, that explains it. Thanks for added info. I am looking up the other references shared here and finding the concept explained...Even though the specific words (free will) are'nt used. Thanks much. .

I have heard many Protestants saying Catholics aren't Christians. Correct me if I'm wrong, please, but isn't the definition of a Christian anyone who thinks Jesus Christ is their lord and savior? Open Question: Is there anywhere in archaeology...?
a portrait of Jesus Christ, or a portrait of any of his disciples, made by an artist who had seen them personally, and knew what they looked like. Because, I find it difficult to believe that 13 people could be so prominent in a society, and no one etched their likeness on anything? Open Question: Why i support Prayer in Schools EVERYWHERE?
Prayer in school, why it SHOULD NOT be banned! I very much support prayer in school not only because I am Christian but because I think that any kid whether Muslim, Catholic, Christian, Jewish, or any other religion SHOULD be allowed to pray in school. I support this because to many people prayer is most often a very comforting thing, for example. If a kid is about to take a test but he/she isn’t sure on how he/she will do, they might pray and be comforted and actually do better on their test. If a kid wants to pray, he/she should be free to do so. But it should NOT be enforced. Not everyone is religious, or of the same religion. School is for learning, and learning about religion is important, however there should be absolutely no type of forced or mandatory type of education on religion. kids should be allowed to say a prayer in school if they are religious and want to, but it should not be forced upon anyone. Prayer is an everyday aspect of the Christian life. Jesus Christ taught His followers to be people of prayer, just as He was. When Christ's disciples asked Him to tutor them how to pray, He told them, “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Luke 11:9-10). Ephesians 6:18 says, “And pray in the Spirit on every occasions with every kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for every the saints.” Christians want the right to pray openly in school because they believe that prayer invites God's participation in the school environment and the educational process. Because “For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth arrive knowledge and understanding” (Proverbs 2:6), they want to invite His input in their studies. In a sense, they want to pass everything they learn and do past God's inspection so that He can give them wisdom to recognize what is true and good, and what is untrue or unwholesome. The Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 10:4, “The weapons we battle with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” Ok i didnt ever say it WAS banned just said it SHOULDNT BE

Resolved Question: A Ministers perspective of Gay Marriage; Should this become a Civil Rights Issue?
We need to learn to be open minded enough to discuss this issue based on rational grounds. I do not feel that homosexuality is a manifestation of a deficit in character or emotional or mental ability. A person who is gay or has gay tendencies may have been "wired" differently from birth. I know this is a throwback to the nature versus nurture argument. However, we must arrive to grips with the reality that the human sexuality is the most complex of any animal. This is probably because we as humans have the most complex and highly evolved minds. Therefore, unlike most species our sexual involvement is not simply an act of procreation but it is also an expression of adore and communication on a very intimate level. Sometimes our interest or connection with others does not arrive in the package of the opposite gender. In addition, the psychoanalytic theorist, Freud and Erikson suggest that the lines of human sexuality are not clearly marked. (Most people are not 100% heterosexual or 100% homosexual). Most people are somewhere right or left of middle along the continuum. Culture, tradition and religion have created taboos that have discriminated against certain groups based on irrational philosophical and ideological grounds. I am sure that most people are aware that homosexuality will never become normal or normative behavior in western and especial American culture. However, homosexuality should not be viewed as an act or transgression against God and/or Humanity. Many of you will probably tow the line in the sand against the acceptance of homosexuality using a literalistic interpretation of scripture from the Old Testament to the New Testament. However, I will caution you, that the same scriptures were used to justify African/African American oppression from Leviticus, to the Letters of Paul. So I do not think that we should use, misuse and abuse the Sacred scriptures to justify anyone else’s oppression; homosexuals. We must become brave and broad-minded enough view the big picture of the purpose of Faith and religion. The corresponding theme from the Old Testament to the New Testament is a theme of Liberation. In a literal since, the Old Testament discusses the Liberation of a wayward people who are looking to a Messiah to help them re-establish the Kingdom of Yahweh and deliver them from their multiple international enemies. The Gospel shares with us a Savior (Jesus) who will bring this Kingdom down through an act of adore, which led to His (Christ) death on the Cross!!!! (John 3:16) (Yes, Jesus died to liberate his people and every people) The purpose of Faith is to bring peace, justice, adore and “abundant” life to every of God’s kids; even those who are oppressed. I believe that we should share in the mission of the long awaited Messiah. We should embrace God's Kingdom, expressed through Jesus Christ and share it with others. Abernathy called The Kingdom, "God's Beloved Kingdom." One way to share in the Kingdom of God is to untie the cultural and religious chains that oppress other people. We need to battle for the cause of liberation of everyone even if it leads to our possess cross and blood shed. To me the topic homosexuality is not an issue of sin, but it is an issue of Social Justice. God’s people are being oppressed through draconian laws that prohibit them from legal marriage and adopting kids in most states. We need to share God’s “Beloved Kingdom” to every who are oppressed and this includes Homosexuals. 6 months ago Additional Details 6 months ago In light of this "blog," share your thoughts. 1) Do you think that gay marriage and adoptions are a civil rights issue? 2). Do think that the American religious leaders should support and help spear-head the movement just as it did in Womens sufferage and Civil Rights??

(John 17:3)...and at (John 6:43-45) In answer Jesus said to them: “cease murmuring among yourselves. 44 No man can arrive to me unless the dad, who sent me, draws him; and I will resurrect him in the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will every be taught by Jehovah.’ Everyone that has heard from the dad and has learned comes to me.

Open Question: Christians, this person is taking the Bible out of context.................?
This user copy and pasted Bible verses to try to make the Bible look bad. What is the CORRECT interpretation of the verses below? ______________________________________________________ By believing in Jesus and being “saved” the Bible writers tell you that you will receive one of the first seats in Heaven to watch how the vast majority of every the human beings perhaps into the TRILLIONS including your “unsaved” family members and old acquaintances will be especially tormented one by one in a sulfuric lake of flame or what have you for ever and ever. You will be encouraged to poke fun at them showing a wet big finger for them to lick to quench their thirst because in Hell there is no fresh water and you can tease them every you want for ever and ever! That’s HEAVEN! No wonder Jesus said that you must hate your dad and your mom and everybody else to follow him, especially if they are "unsaved" and go to HELL! You will hear a lot of “I told you so…” from Sweet Jesus! He thought of everything even some low IQ teasing games that WE CAN every PLAY with the damned in Hell! Heaven is for the childlike needy and uneducated so please bear with me in this story right out of God’s Holy Word, the Bible! Luke 16:23-25-NIV (Jesus is telling us…) AND BEING IN TORMENTS IN HELL, he* (*Not a gay person, or a Godless Atheist, or and abortionist, but a wealthy Jewish person whom Jesus knew personally! In those days to be wealthy was the fad sin of the day.) lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom* (*If you go to Hell you will recognize EVERYBODY in Heaven, and vise versa!). “Then he cried and said, ‘dad Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and chilly my tongue; FOR I AM TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.’ (and Jesus every excited and turned on like mad continues the story telling…) But Abraham said, ‘Son* (*Abraham was an ancestor of this wealthy man! Notice how little compassion any member of your possess family will have on you if you end up in Hell!), remember that in your lifetime you received your good things* (*in this story, to be wealthy is a sin! Christian preachers now use it to make it applicable to ANY SIN!), and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is comforted* (* for every eternity, for ever and ever, and ever! billions and trillions of years…!!!) and YOU ARE TORMENTED! Believe it or not, there is hardly any other specific description in the Bible of what else any Christian will be doing in Heaven except for “worshiping” this egotistic Bible God! The Bible God promised the Jews to be “wealthy lenders not borrowers” like this wealthy man in Hell, otherwise IF THEY DON’T OBEY they will be needy “slaves and borrowers” like Lazarus! This story is more proof that nothing in the Bible makes any sense or can be taken seriously! That’s why I receive a lot of email telling me that not everything in the Bible in factual! Especially the silly teasing words that Sweet Jesus aka “Creator of the Universe” is dreaming up in anticipation of the day when he will personally like watching the Christians POKING FUN AT every THOSE IN HELL FOR EVER AND EVER for not “believing in Jesus,” or for never hearing about him, or not having the mental faculties in order to “accept” Jesus, and to obey the clergy, and pay the tithes and offerings ON TIME! It will be a long time before anybody in Heaven can possibly receive bored! Christians hate homosexuals, atheists, abortionists, and what have you. Only Jesus knows what other torments await for those in HELL…!!! Low IQ people will adore to be entertained for ever like that… or wouldn’t they? But what the heck! It is every in the Bible that Christians hardly read! Luke 19:27 (NIV) (Jesus is very excited telling this other story, too!) But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them–bring them here AND KILL THEM IN FRONT OF ME!* (*Not even the Mafia measures up to Jesus! Christianity surely is a “slaughter home” religion and the preachers know!) Revelation 14:10-11 (NIV) [Jesus says] "he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. HE WILL BE TORMENTED WITH BURNING SULFUR IN THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY ANGELS AND OF THE LAMB* (*i.e. Sweet Jesus Christ, and the Christians who managed to be saved in spite of every the hurdles that Jesus set up -John 17:24 will like watching!) And THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT RISES FOR EVER AND EVER. There is no relax day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

Open Question: Were the Nazi in Germany held in spiritual captivity to witchcraft/demonic forces like the New World Order? ?
After discovering a underworld "Satanic" government which is spreading like a cancer throughout society I have experienced how they force and seduce, or should I say seduce then force, people into spiritual captivity to witchcraft demonic forces. Is this the way the Nazi enslaved the Germans to commit genocide? This organization, the Mafia 666 with its many other names, seduces, trick, and forces people to participate in occult practices. These so called games and practices have been distributed throughout society to cause spiritual bondage. These practices enable witchcraft/demonic forces to be manifested against the victims. I was forced with witchcraft/demonic forces to go through a transcendental meditation ceremony. The way it is done is quite amazing and almost unbelievable, but by this spiritual bondage I was forced to go through three T.M. ceremonies. I was torcherd with mind control snooze deprivation and in many other ways. The three ceremonies I was forced to go through were performed in what appeared to be three different sections of the brain. I was taken through the ceremonies and instructed to except the worship of one of their many "Gods" these were no gods but demonic entities one including Satan another they named Jesus. What better way to join every religions of the world. "The powerful delusion"'/ New World Order. When they said Jesus name I was so sleepy scared and confused I just said "yes Jesus". After said ceremony they knew my faith was strong and that they wouldn't control me and take me captive because I no Jesus Christ is God. They tortured me with witchcraft and continue to this day. They try to cease me from informing people how this new world order is distributing the spiritual mark of the beast. Yes this is the spiritual mark. I had delivered a warning to these people prior to the Gulf war. After this is when the New World Order showed me Hell on earth. I guess their really is a Nazi reign in the U.S. and it is spreading like a cancer throughout society. This is how they try and control people and take captive. If anyone is to go into captivity into captivity they will go. They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn’t adore their lives so much as to shrink form death. This calls for patience and endurance on the part of the saints. Have they been using drug dealers to terrorize your neighborhood? Are their many "Free" Masons and shiners in your Government? Have you received your spiritual mark? They are in the "Christian" Church. bull maceli they were "Free" Masons and they have been hiding in the closet a long time. by there fear of death they were held in captivity look it up in the bible if you have one

Open Question: Have any Christians been threatened with cancer causing chemicals in your food by drug dealer types?
If you disclose how the NWO/Mafia 666/”Free” Masons with there many other names are distributing the spiritual mark of the Beast and enforcing the worship of Satan along with their other Demon ”Gods" they worship. They say if you worship "one" you worship them every. How about the way they have placed occult paraphernalia into society to cause spiritual bondage to witchcraft. Games sold at your every day stores. And don't forget what comes next, the forced participation, by torture with witchcraft; to go through the secret ceremony of Transcendental Meditation were you are tortured until you except the spiritual mark. Yes, the mark of the beast is a spiritual mark! If that wasn't enough, if you will not comply, they will continue the torture using witchcraft. No wonder witchcraft is such a secret. How about those heart palpitations, spasms, witchcraft dreams, being attacked at night by spiritual entities summoned by witches, souls of birds used to distribute spells, Incantations, Voodoo, squeezing the nerve against the thigh bone, trying to seize the heart while you snooze, sleep paralysis, crimping the artery just below the heart, the list is endless and witchcraft "is" of the devil. Don’t forget those pesty things that zap you while you are just starting to fall asleep. Some times they do it when you are in a deep snooze. How about how they cause, what appears to be, lights that flash in your room at night. Beware of occult paraphernalia!! They will try to make your life a living hell on earth, like there souls will be for eternity. But, theirs will be much much worse in eternal damnation. If you go into captivity into captivity you will go. This calls for patience and endurance on the part of the saints. They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the "WORD" of their testimony. They didn't adore their lives so much as to shrink from death so rejoice oh heaven and those who dwell there in, but woe to the earth and sea because the devil has gone down to you! And he runs the Hells “A” souls the police for the Illuminated Masons. The Bible says stand to the point of death and you shall live. difficult testing Hugh! I guess are rewards shall be great! I've learned how to beat the devil and that is with the pencil or type writer, the Lord Jesus Christ and his mighty Angels. I just want to thank you for the info! You know who you are. Graciously yours baptized by flame / the witness JESUS IS COMING!

I am so ashamed of this slip of faith that I can hardly bare to ask my Lords forgiveness. God's will be done.

Open Question: I don't think just "believing" gets you to heaven?
Lets say for the sake of the question that Christianity is the correct religion. Satan has been around for a very long time now, and I'm pretty sure that he knows very well who God is, who his son is, and probably understands the bible a whole lot better then ppl do today etc etc. He I think also believes/knows what power God has and how everything works. I mean he may not follow through on being a "good christian" but he still knows who jesus christ is. by satan believing in God i mean that he realizes that God is real/exists God is 3 in 1 God is the every powerful God died for the sins, so that ppl could be forgiven etc etc So Satan believes in God, will he then go to HELL?

Resolved Question: Is there something vaguely "erotic" about the way some women talk about their "relationship" with Christ?
I have been reading the comments on R & S for several months now from women who talk about their "personal relationship" with Jesus. The sub context often suggests something unconscicously sexual. Am I the only one who has picked this one up? Bonus question: How many "planned maintenance" days does it take for Yahoo to fix this site? Seems like they are always undergoing one of those. Who was this Julian of Norwich? Please add some details? Curious....

Open Question: Christmas and Non believers?
I have a Curiosity / question for those who do not believe in Christ. CHRISTmas is the Birthday of Jesus Christ.. That is Fact.. Christmas is a day christians use to celebrate and recognize CHRIST... Now, Santa Clause was a Black man, who made toys for kids and passed them out. Good Thing. Why then do Non believers celebrate Christmas. I mean it has nothing to do with Santa Clause. It is Christ's Birthday, and a day for Christians to celebrate it.. The gift's arrive in to play where the wise men brought gifts as homage to Christ. Why would you even consider celebrating such an occasion? I am just curious. If your that much againist jesus, seems to me, you wouldn't even celebrate for Santa Clause. The giving of gifts is a representation of the wise men and you are recognizing it and accepting that. isn't it calling the kettle black when you celebrate a day for christ and do not believe and try to give excuses... Why not celebrate the day after christmas and name it a different holiday. To me either non believers are confused. If i were a Non believer in jesus Christ, there is NO WAY i would celebrate christmas and buy gifts and decorate.. It would be an insult to me. Even as Santa Clause as a factor. I'd not celebrate it at every Do you put up a tree and decorate it? do you give gift's? do you fix a family dinner???? if you do any of these things you are celebrating his is the definition of christmas from the american dictionary Christ⋅mas /ˈkrɪsməs/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [kris-muhs] Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. the annual festival of the Christian church commemorating the birth of Jesus: celebrated on December 25 and now generally observed as a legal holiday and an occasion for exchanging gifts.

Open Question: are you done once you've gotten on the straight and narrow? (Book of Mormon scripture)?
2 Ne. 31: 19-20 19 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if every is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not arrive thus far keep it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to keep. 20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of wish, and a clove of God and of every men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the dad: Ye shall have eternal life. Thoughts? To me this says a little more then believe Jesus and be saved. Fireball- I'm just asking your opinion on a quote. I know you don't think of it as scripture... so think of it as a quote. Natassia- I somewhat agree. If Joseph Smith made up the book of Mormon he had to be mighty smart. But I think there is too much in the Book of Mormon for a young uneducated farm boy to make up. Andrew K- It wasn't copied to be like the bible, it was a translation of golden plates and this is just how it came out. I think the language is much easier to understand then the bible, which is nice. N.B. Jones- I know what you think of the book of mormon, I was asking what you thought of the scripture. Andrew K- This isn't what my question is about. I could say more... but it's off topic.

Open Question: What our Father will be like?
Jesus Christ said we must be perfect like our dad in Heaven. Although it is impossible for Humans to be perfect, Jesus Christ simply wants us to try to be perfect. When one tries to be perfect, at least he is doing the will of God. I am not sure what our dad in Heaven is like. Can we look him physically after we die? If yes, how will it be possible to look God without eyes? What God looks like, or what should we expect him to look like? Please be moderate in your answer. Many Thanks. Dad

Open Question: Where is the sense and societal justice when . . .?
In Christianity a man who has raped and murdered women and kids lies upon his final demise, truly and honestly repents for what he did, accepts the lord and saviour Jesus Christ in his heart and I mean TRULY AND HONESTLY accepts his adore and spirit, is taken by in the arms of death and emerges into conciousness in front of the gates of the kingdom called Heaven, yet a man who is a self-proclaimed atheist devotes his life to helping people and caring for others, something said to be "Christian-like", committing truly selfless acts only for the betterment of human beings and because he feels it is the right thing, goes to the Christian hell or purgatory and the man who society would call truly "bad" is awarded total salvation? Now I am not an Atheist or Agnostic nor do I have any religious or non-religious affiliation and status. I am simply a man who ponders everything and anything and refuses to live life with answers. I live life in 100% doubt for I feel as a human being I know nothing. However it is gives me much enjoyment as a human who was given the ability to think (how we were given and who gave us this ability is of no relevance at the moment) to use my mind and ponder and question every of life's wonders, mysteries, beliefs, philosophies, etc. etc. but to never take the conclusions I have developed and declare them doctrines or creeds in anyone's life and especially my possess. I am not asking this question to show the injustices and diffuse the Christian religion (no matter how much I disagree with it) I am asking because of my possess philosophical beliefs to question. So every in every just answer the question to the best of your ability. Some have asked why would this atheist want to spend time with a god he never believed in is irrelevant. This question is posed that the Christian religion and what they believe is true. Therefore he would go to hell. And to ask a question inspired by that proposed question . . Why would God wish to spend time with a man who never believed in the teachings of Christ until his final demise?

Open Question: Jehovah's Witnesses Are Right About?
What could it be? The Bible tells us that adore is the perfect bond of union. According to the Watchtower, robotic sameness is the perfect bond of union. Without this sort of mentality the military and police forces every over the world would fail. They would be doomed to ineffectiveness due to independent thinking. Are Jehovah's Witnesses right to be robotically the same and offer up mindless devotion to their idol the Watchtower Corporation, instead of true Christian worship to Almighty God through Jesus Christ?

Open Question: Why should I "choose" to be a Christian?
My wife and I have had this discussion off and on for a good while now, and no one she or I has asked has been able to give a satisfactory answer. Why should I pick to be a Christian? Even Christians can't decide exactly what a Christian is, outside the very general terms of "Christ, God, etc.". Some Christians say Jesus IS God, some say Jesus was his son, some say Jesus was his prophet (Islam mostly). Some believe that speaking in tongues is communicating with God, while others say that speaking in tongues is evidence of communing with the devil. It also doesn't seem to sit well when you view Christianity against other religions. For example, what about the Romans? The Christian ideology that pervades our society has relegated the Roman and Greek beliefs to status of mere mythology, yet to the Romans and Greeks, these things we call "mythological beings" were Gods. Same for the Norse, the Aztecs, Native Americans, and so forth. Why do the Christians not also consider the Hindu gods to be merely Myths? So it's a really confusing topic, with a million different answers. Everyone claims that their belief is the right one, and everyone else is wrong. Logically, it would be a safe assumption that they are every wrong and no one gets it right. So I'm confused and wondering about this lately. Anyone have an opinion (I know you do ;-) ) "We have to obey every of Gods words not just what we pick and pick. " So why then, do Christians not follow every of the words? I don't recall every hearing of someone in modern times following the teachings held in Leviticus, for example. Don't misunderstand me... while I have not read the entire bible, I have read some of the books, parts of both the new and old testament, and one of the biggest parts of confusion comes from the question "well, everyone says, just read the bible. The bible tells me to suffer not a witch to live, and to sacrifice animals (old testament) while simultaneously loving my neighbors and do unto others as I would have them do unto me. So who gets to decide what parts of the bible are actual edics and what are mere parable to be used as allegory and example?"

Open Question: Strobel's "A Case for Christ" - If you've read it, Help! I need advice on what convinced you...?
I was raised Catholic but never believed. I can tell you every sacrament or beatitude but I have extreme doubts Jesus’ divinity. At the suggestion of a non-catholic Christian, I’ve been reading Lee Strobel’s book “A Case for Christ” and I’m about half way through but… I’m still having problems with my faith. I understand the book completely and a lot of the arguments he makes are very plausible but none of them have convinced me. The only one that I found really convincing was about the age of the bible and how soon after Christ it was likely written. (Also how many copies exist vs. other secular works that we consider truth; That was chilly for the history geek in me; I had no idea!) ANYWAYS~ I’m half way through (just finished the part about whether Jesus was crazy) And I’d want to hear from those who have read it~ What convinced you? What did you feel was the strongest argument? What suggestions do you have for me? Also, if you disagreed with parts of the book, I’d adore to hear that too!

Open Question: I think I'm a Buddhist... do I have to leave my church?
I still revere Jesus and Mary and the saints. But I don't think of them the way the Church says I should think of them. I can look Christ as a great spiritual teacher, but not as the son of God. I have been learning about the Buddha and practicing meditation and I feel now I am on the right path. On the other hand, I feel like there would be a void in my life if I were to leave my church. Despite everything, some part of me still feels Christian. What should I do? Do I have to leave, or can I stay?

Open Question: Can you be a Christian if you don't believe in God but respect Jesus enough to follow his teachings?
Hypothetically, lets say someone (lets call him John Dodecahedron) doesn't make any claims about anything accept what he himself has proof of. He doesn't have any definitive proof of any divine beings and doesn't think some of the more outlandish stories within the Bible happened to the extent printed (like giant fish swallowing men, seas opening up, and every that jazz). He doesn't even think any of the miracles Jesus Christ reportedly preformed actually happened, but John likes what Jesus taught so much he applies it to his every day life. He goes to church and follows the Bible to the letter, but he doesn't buy any of its theological implications... is he a Christian? If he isn't a Christian than what would you label him as?
