Open Question: Want to know what Charles Taze Russell and the original Bible Students still believe?

The Jehovah's Witnesses are not the Organization that Charles Taze Russell started. They were in truth started by Judge Rutherford in 1931. Upon Russell's death, Rutherford took the Bible Students organization over in an unethical coup. Rutherford was not even named in Russell's will as to who he wanted to take over when he died. 75% of the original Bible Students were gone by 1925. Rutherford denied the very basis for Russell's teachings. That Jesus Christ gave his life as a "Ransom for every." 1 Timothy 2:6. Rutherford decided that after 1925 one must become a member of his organization or they would die the second dearh. Please read the doctrines mentioned here and look up the scriptures before making biased and ignorant comments. Russell's "Bible Students" still exist today. Here s what they truly believe. People who understand these doctrines know they are a far sob from what the JW's became. 1- Jesus Christ gave his life as a "ransom for every" 1 Timothy 2:6. That through his obedience to the Heavenly dad every of mankind will receive the opportunity for eternal life in the 1,000 year millennial age mentioned in Revelation the 20th chapter, and in Isaiah the 35th chapter of the Holy Bible. 2- Jesus Christ is just who he said he was, the SON of God. He was the FIRST creation of the Heavenly dad, "the beginning of the creation of God." Revelations 3:14 3- There are two distinct salvations as taught in the Bible. One for the general world of mankind during the "times of restitution of every things" described in Acts 3:21. Those found worthy of life during the 1,000 year day of judgment, will be permitted to live forever on a perfect earth (Isaiah 35th chapter) that has been restored to the paradise conditions of the Garden of Eden. The other salvation described in the Bible is the reward given to the "little flock," the true saints of God. This "144,000" are mentioned in Revelation 20:6, "Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power." These members of the bride of Christ will become immortal partakers of the "divine nature" 2 Peter 1:4. These will partake in the judging of the world during the 1,000 year day of judgment. 1st Corinthians 6:2. 4- The nation of Israel and the ancient worthies of the old testament have a unique relationship with God. Jerusalem will serve as the capitol of the world in the earthly kingdom of God. (Jeremiah 32:6-11), (Revelation 21:10), (Micah 4:1-8). The re-establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948, after being desolate for over 1,800 years, is a fulfillment of prophecy and is a sign of the soon to be established Kingdom of God. 5- The "Wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) Death is an unconscious state in which there are no works or device. (Ecclesiastes 9: 5-10) The doctrine of eternal torture advocated by most Christian sects is a grievous mistake and comes as a result of confusing symbolic scriptures with literal texts. "The soul that sins shall die." (Ezekiel 18:20) 6- The earth is not going to be destroyed with flame like so many Christians wrongly believe. According to the Bible "The earth abides forever." (Ecclesiastes 1:4) 7- God does not sanction earthly organizations. His call is to individual Christians, and not religious denominations. 8- That no individual man is the "Antichrist," but that it is a system of untrue religion passed on throughout the history of Christianity. These systems, instead of serving Christ, sought after earthly political power, which resulted in bad deeds, wars, and religious genocides. 9- Jesus Christ will reign during the earthly phase of the Kingdom until he has destroyed every of his enemies. "The last foe to be destroyed is death." (1 Corinthians 15:26) Following this he will hand every things back to the dad. At this point even he will be subjected to the dad. (1 Corinthians 15:28)

Open Question: Did you know "Before Abraham was I am" does not prove Jesus was God?

The Trinity is a untrue doctrine invented by the Emprorer Constantine in 380 AD. "I AND THE dad ARE ONE" JOHN 10:30 Supporters of the trinity often quote the words of Jesus "I and the dad are one" as proof for Jesus' being God in the flesh. Once again they take the words of Jesus completely out of context. If one examines Jesus' possess words later on in the very same gospel of John, he explains this oneness. On the night of his arrest our Lord prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. He prayed vehemently for the well being of his Apostles. He asks God that "they every may be ONE, as you dad, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be ONE in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given them, and that they may be ONE just as we are ONE." (John 17:21-22) Clearly Jesus was not asking his dad to make his apostles one in the same person. He was requesting that they be one in thought, purpose, and deed. Jesus Christ and Jehovah, his God and our God, are indeed one, but it is a oneness in their mission. This oneness of purpose can be compared to having a President and a Vice President. They are not the same literal persons, but they are one in representing the office of the presidency. "HE WHO HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE dad" JOHN 14:9 This passage is often used by trinity advocates as another proof that Jesus was claiming to be God. If we are to take this passage literally, there appears to be serious contradiction in Jesus' words in other scriptures. How can Jesus say "he who has seen me has seen the dad" and in another place say "Not that anyone has seen the dad, except he who is from God; he has seen the dad." (John 6:46) "And the dad himself who sent me, has testified of me. You have neither heard his voice at anytime, nor seen his form." (John 5:37) Or what about the words of John "No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten son, who is in the bosom of the dad has declared him." Then again in (1st John 4:12) "No one has seen God at any time." Thankfully, the scriptures do not contradict themselves. It appears that the true meanings of Jesus’ words are if you have seen him, you have seen the works of the dad. The word "seen" is translated from the Greek word horao (Strongs 3708) which means "to discern clearly." "BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS I AM" JOHN 8:58 One of the more credible, at least on the surface, arguments made by well meaning Trinitarians is the use of Jesus' words in verse 58 of the 8th chapter of John. In this conversation with the Pharisees, the Lord was rebuking them for not knowing who he really was. He informed them that their dad Abraham rejoiced to look his day and he saw it and he was glad. (John 8:57) In doubting him, the Jewish leader responded, "you are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Following this in verse 58 Jesus said "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was I am." Many Christians have been decieved by latter day translatiors who dishonestly place the words "I am" in capitol letters. Included in these are, The New King James Version, The Amplified Bible, and The New Living Translation. This is done in an attempt to make it appear that Jesus was quoting here from Exodus 3:14 when God appeared to Moses at the burning bush. It is here where God says "I AM who I AM." Consider the words in the previous verses, "If I honor myself my honor is nothing. It is my dad who honors me, of whom you say that he is your God." verse 54. It is our contention that Jesus in his pre-human existence acted as the one carrying out Jehovah's wishes. He was representing Jehovah, as his messenger before mankind. What Jesus told the Pharisees was that he knew God, his dad, personally, and that he was gift in Abraham's time acting upon the will of his dad. DID THOMAS' WORDS "MY LORD AND MY GOD" PROVE THE TRINITY

Open Question: Were early Christians a "Cult?" They did not believe Jesus was "God."?

The Trinity is a untrue doctrine invented by Constantine as a political comprimise in the 300's. Please read this before making biased ignorant comments. THE WORD WAS GOD" JOHN 1:1 For centuries, a needy translation of John 1:1, as well as a misunderstanding of biblical usage for the word "god," has caused millions to wrongly believe in the trinity. In most Bibles, John 1:1 reads "In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God." This scripture is the cornerstone of Trinitarian creed. HOW SHOULD JOHN 1:1 BE TRANSLATED? The first argument in refuting this interpretation is an appeal to common sense. How could the Word be with God and be God at the same time? If the point here was to say that the Word was God, why bother saying that he was with him? Would not the passage more likely read (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was in every things God?) The very word structure of this passage provides strong evidence for mistranslation. In an effort to validate their possess bias towards the trinity doctrine, it appears that the translators have ignored an obvious distinction between the Logos and the Heavenly dad in John 1:1. The Greek word that is used for god in the passage is theos. In the two uses of the word "god" there is a difference in its usage. In the first use "the Word was with God" the word is ho theos meaning THE God." In the second usage of this verse it is simply theos. Given this, the proper reading of John 1:1 should be "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and a god was the Word." Verse 2 goes on to say, "He was in the beginning with the (ho theos) God." According to the Strongs Concordance, the Greek word theos, which is numbered 2316 in the Greek dictionary found towards the back of the publication, means "a deity, especially with word (3588) the supreme Divinity." Now let us examine word 3588. This word is the very "ho" placed before the name of God in the first usage in John 1:1. Given this obvious distinction between theos and ho theos, by the Apostle John, can there be any doubt that Jesus Christ in his pre-human condition was an every together separate being from the God of the universe? THE HEBREW WORD "ELOHIM" Numerous times in the Old Testament the Hebrew word elohim is used for the word God. It is often used when referring to the Heavenly dad, but the meaning of elohim is simply "mighty one" or one in authority. Given this, elohim is applied to angels as in Psalm 8:5 "You have made him (the future Messiah) a little lower than the angels (elohim) and have crowned him with glory and honor." In other instances in the Old Testament elohim is used when speaking of powerful human beings. For instance in Exodus 7:1 Moses is called elohim "look I have made you as God to Pharaoh." Psalm 82:6-7 refers to the saints as elohim "I said you are gods, and every of you are kids of the most high God." FRAUDULENT BIBLICAL PASSAGES IN 1ST JOHN 5:7-8 Further proof that the doctrine of the trinity is untrue lies in the book of 1st John. Trinitarians have used the words of 1st John 5:7-8 as a key argument for the trinity. "For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the dad, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." There is an enormous problem however in using these verses to bolster the trinity doctrine. The passage is not authentic! These words only appear in five later manuscripts and are not found in any of the earlier New Testament texts. These verses are such obvious forgeries that even staunch Trinitarian scholars have been forced to admit as much. Among them are the publishers of the New King James translation and various study bibles. Let us now take a look at 1st John 5:7-8 in its true context without the spurious passage. "For there are three who bear witness, the spirit, the water, and the blood, and these things agree as one." Upon seeing how these verses are intended to read, it is clear that in no way do they offer a credible argument for the trinity. Now examine verse nine "If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God that he has testified in his SON Jesus Christ." Clearly these passages are talking about two separate beings, the Heavenly dad and his only begotten SON Jesus Christ. He prayed vehemently for

Open Question: Christians: Did Adam and Eve go to Hell?

Do only Christians go to Heaven? Adam and Eve weren't Christians, as Christ did not exist yet. Does this mean they went to Hell? If not, this must mean I don't need to believe in Jesus to be saved. @ Sentinel Can you point to me where in the Bible God told Adam and Eve that He was sending Jesus to keep them and then tell me why it would matter to them if they were going to be dead once Jesus arrived? @ FUNdie "Adam and Eve are 'asleep' in the grave"? No, sorry, they're dead in the grave. Who sleeps in a grave? I can think of better places to snooze. Also, how can you say "Why do you believe that 'Christ didn't exist yet?" and then say..."When Christ came later" in the same response? Are you just that stupid?

Open Question: Jesus thought Noahs flood was real?

Why did Jesus Christ talk of the global flood and Noah's Ark like it was an actual event in Matthew 24:37-41? Why does he say this when it has been shown to clearly be a myth time and time again? For instance look here: Flood Geology http://www.talkorigins.org/origins/faqs-flood.html Flood Geology disproven by geology, physics, chemistry, molecular genetics, evolutionary biology, archaeology, and paleontology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flood_geology Noah's Ark was taken from other flood myths: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah's_flood Matthew 24:37-41, 37 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them every away ; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 "Then there will be two men in the field ; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill ; one will be taken and one will be left. (Also look in Luke 17:26-27) I've noticed an increased number of Christians who think it is a myth, as opposed to 20 years ago, I wonder if they know about this paasage of Jesus saying this. Why does he describe 2 women grinding at a mill when we have machines to do that for us nowdays for that matter? If you try to receive around the flood story by saying Noah's flood wasn't global, that doesn't work because: Genesis 7:11 states that “every the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.” Genesis 1:6-7 and 2:6 tell us that the pre-flood environment was much different from that which we experience today. Genesis 7:19-23. “They rose greatly on the earth, and every the high mountains below the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet. Every living thing that moved on the earth perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, every the creatures that swarm over the earth, and every mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.” In the over passage, we not only find the word “every” being used repeatedly, but we also find “every the high mountains below the entire heavens were covered,” “the waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet,“ and “every living thing that moved on the earth perished.” These descriptions clearly describe a universal flood covering the whole earth. Also, if the flood was localized, why did God instruct Noah to build an ark instead of merely telling Noah to move and causing the animals to migrate? And why did He instruct Noah to build an ark big enough to home every of the different kinds of land animals found on the earth? If the flood was not global, there would have been no need for an ark. Peter also describes the universality of the flood in 2 Peter 3:6-7, where he states, “By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the gift heavens and earth are reserved for flame, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.”

Open Question: I promised God when I was 11 years old that I would not smoke weed, now I feel as if I cannot follow through.?

When I was 11 years old, I promised God that I would not smoke marijuana. When I made this promise, I was a younger child( I'm almost 15 now) and I had NO intention of breaking it. I once read that it is better to break a promise to God than to have made it in the first place. Is this true? Does God know if you will break the promise even before you do. I do not intend to hurt my body(my temple)or use it in excess, but I just want to try marijuana, not overdo it. I adore God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I accept him with every my heart and I know that he died for our sins. I just know that I blindly made a promise as a child that I thought that I could keep, but I am not so sure of myself anymore. I would like the people to answer not to say that "God does not exist, do what you want." I want a true Christian response from the heart of what you feel is right. Thank you

Open Question: If Jesus claimed to be God and preformed miracles to prove it?

.... not to mention every he taught.... .... if he was crazy, or lying or didn't actually receive raised from the dead, then why would so many testify about his life? Only one of the apostles died a natural death.... they were willing to be tortured and DIE for what they knew to be true about the Christ. What would be their motive for talking and spreading this word? They knew they could be killed just like Jesus for doing what they were doing, but they kept on doing it. Were they every crazy too? Were they deluded? Or did they testify because they found the truth and were willing to die for it? @ Its Smee: Some people live below a 'banner of freedom' no matter who they hurt to receive it.... 'freedom' is their god. @ the other comments.... yes, it's admirable to be willing to die for what you believe in. I would DIE for my faith... but I would NEVER EVER KILL FOR IT.

Open Question: Why are you a Catholic?

For you Catholics out there, why are you a Catholic? I will list my reasons for why I am NOT nor will I ever be a Catholic and you can respond accordingly. Maybe I'm not seeing something. So here goes: Did you know that the Catholic church modified the Ten Commandments? Take out your bible I'm not lying. Protestant version: Thou shalt have no other gods before me Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy Honour thy dad and thy mom Thou shalt not kill Thou shalt not commit adultery Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not bear untrue witness against thy neighbour Thou shalt not covet Catholic version: Thou shalt not have other gods besides Me Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain Remember to keep holy the Lord’s day Honor thy dad and thy mom Thou shalt not murder Thou shalt not commit adultery Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not bear untrue witness against thy neighbor Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods Now let's look at 9 and 10 of the Catholic version. Technically you can covet everything else your neighbor has besides his home and his goods. You can covet his job, his kids, unless of course those are goods and if kids are goods, why isn't a wife a good? Or, this was a revision done by the Catholic church (the more obvious choice) And you can make idols using the Catholic version. That is why the Sabbath is now Sunday in favor of sun worship. And why does the Pope believe he is God? Here's a couple of quotes by or about the Pope: The Pope is not simply the representative of Jesus Christ. On the contrary, he is Jesus Christ Himself, below the veil of the flesh, and who by means of a being common to humanity continues His ministry amongst men ... Does the Pope talk? It is Jesus Christ Who is speaking. Does he tutor? It is Jesus Christ Who teaches. Does he confer grace or pronounce an anathema? It is Jesus Christ Himself Who is pronouncing the anathema and conferring the grace. Hence consequently, when one speaks of the Pope, it is not necessary to examine, but to obey: there must be no limiting the bounds of the command, in order to suit the purpose of the individual whose obedience is demanded: there must be no cavilling at the declared will of the Pope, and so invest it with quite another than that which he has put upon it: no preconceived opinions must be brought to bear upon it: no rights must be set up against the rights of the Holy dad to tutor and command; his decisions are not to be criticized, or his ordinances disputed. Therefore by Divine ordination, every, no matter how august the person may be — whether he wear a crown or be invested with the purple, or be clothed in the sacred vestments: every must be subject to Him Who has had every things put below Him." -Evangelical Christendom, January 1, 1895, pg. 15, published in London by J. S. Phillips. "The Pope and God are the same, so he has every power in Heaven and earth." Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous". "The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth...by divine right the Pope has supreme and full power in faith, in morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true vicar, the head of the entire church, the dad and teacher of every Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of every, being judged by no one, God himself on earth." Quoted in the New York Catechism. "The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden below the veil of flesh." Catholic National July 1895. "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty" ...Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter of June 20, 1894, Things that make you go hmmmmmmm............... But doesn't their possess ten commandments say you shall have no other Gods before me, so how is their leader able to call himself God? But then too, Daniel talked about someone who would do these things such as changing God's laws. Daniel 7 has the story. 24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25And he shall talk great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Time, times and the dividing of time = 3.5 years = 42 months = 1260 days Did you know that the Catholic church led to the destruction of the Heruli, the Vandals That last sentence was supposed to say the Vandals, Heruli and Ostrogoths. There were 10 original barbarian tribes and 3 were plucked from the root :-) bc they did not agree with Catholic doctrine so with the power that they had, they basically hedged them out. I'm not here to condemn anyone, I am just pointing out my reasons for NOT being a Catholic. This is not a rant. These are my supporting argument. The Dark Ages lasted 1260 years from 538A.D. - 1798A.D. when the Pope was taken away and died in exile. The Catholic church was left without a head...mortally wounded. In prophetic time a day = year Num 14:34 God guide Moses and his people to the edge of Canaan, but most men who were sent to spy out the land returned and murmured against God's promise. And God said to Moses... You shall every wander in the wilderness forty years... after the number of days in which you searched the land: Forty days. Each day for a year. Eze 4:6 The Lord appointed Ezekiel the priest to be a watchman for the home of Iseral, and to give them a warning... Lie upon your left side 390 days, for I have laid upon you the years of Iseral's iniquity. Completing these, lie upon your right side forty days to bear the iniquity of the home of Judah. I have laid upon you a day for each year. Revelation 17 talks about the lady on the beast and gives clues about who she actually is: Rev 17: 7-9 7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the lady, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the lady sitteth. The Vatican is in Rome, 7 Hills...but I digress. Daniel's prophesies are dead on....also, the church is the bride of Christ.....but Babylon is called a whore. Unless Babylon the Great is a church, why would the bible use a feminine personification for it? God loves us every and the truth spoken in adore covers every wrongs. The truth is a two-edged sword. Some will be clip by it and others will be saved by it. What about using the bible instead of Catholic doctrine? I urge every who are Catholic to read the book of Tobit and Judith and keep a straight face....you will either be disgusted by how self righteous Tobit is, or it will make you giggle that people actually believe the doctrine of a church who holds that book as one inspired by God. I personally don't find it silly and it grieves me that this church has so many faithful believers. Study the architecture of these churches..notice the pagan statues, rituals, etc. God is not religion or ritual, he is a relationship. I don't need Canon law bc I trust God's law. The Vatican occupies 1/2 kilometer of Rome. Should you ever want to talk to one of your Catholic heads of church here is the address: Sacred Congregation for Bishops Bernardin Cardinal Gantin Sacred Congregation for Bishops Piazza Pio XII 10 00193 Rome, VATICAN CITY Did that say Rome??? I don't do this to insult anyone and I know you mean to offend me by that BET comment. No worries over here. Satan works in ridicule. What really boggles my mind is when ppl try to defend Christ by cursing ppl out, or insulting someone..using race of every things. You have to have God in your heart. Christ works in adore not through hate, religion, ritual, nor doctrine. Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with every thine heart; and lean not unto thine possess understanding. Use your logic to understand that Proverb.

Resolved Question: Christians: Have you ever wanted to be baptized in the real Jordan River?

The Christian radio station is advertising a trip to the Holy Land, and that is one of their catch phrases. I have to admit that I don't receive it. I was baptized when I needed to be baptized: when I was ready to commit my life to Christ. I certainly don't need to be re-baptized just so I can be baptized in the Jordan River like Jesus was. It seems rather sacreligious to me to do something so sacred just for the sake of it. So what do you think? Is this bizarre? Am I missing something?

Resolved Question: SEVERE anxiety/depression?!?! PLEASE HELP!?

Hello, and thanks for reading this. I suffer from: -Semi often panic attacks - Slight depersonalization and mostly derealization - Anxiety - Depression I have been getting this on and off since I was very young, but recently it has flared up again. Nowadays, I'm suffering from constant derealization and a touch of depersonalization, occasional panic attacks, and recurring depression. Nothing I'm doing seems to be helping. I've tried a healthy diet, started exercise, and whatnot... it's not working! These attacks, as any other people who've had severe attacks, are terrifying and I obviously want to do something about it right away. I'm going to look a doctor in a couple of weeks, but I'm going to be suffering since then and I want to put an abrupt halt to it. Also, I'm suffering from religious anxiety. I'm a Christian, and we believe that the only true way to receive to Heaven is to trust on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to keep us from our sins thousands of years ago. Please people, don't complain about this. Either way, because me/my surroundings don't feel existent, I don't feel like I believe anything or that there was a past (it doesn't feel like there was/is anything). So, along with the over four or so symptoms in that list, I'm terrified sick I'm going to not go to Heaven when I die. Please understand this, people - my religion is NOT CAUSING THIS- it's just that I'm now doubting salvation, which seriously adds to the depression/depersonalization/derealization/depression/anxiety thing. At points I feel suicidal, but I won't be able to bring myself to that - it just feels that way sometimes. I'm not ACTUALLY suicidal. Please, people, if you've read this far and are ready to answer a needy nearly-crazy person, please answer SERIOUSLY. Also, PLEASE don't mention the religion in any negative way. Getting rid of my Christianity WON'T HELP AT every. Sorry if I sound mean or something - I'm being driven into a frenzy. I want peace. I don't want jokes or anything, just good solid advice. What should I do that would help? I'd especially appreciate it if it's from fellow panickers who have found solutions. I've found online things, but I want home remedies until I go to the doctor. Thank you SO much! Oh, and I haven't been doing anything that has been traumitizing. I'm trying to receive back on a good snooze schedule and every that, but before I'd have semi-bad habits and nothing would happen.

Open Question: Should I hear out an ex friend?

About a week ago my pal since freshman year of high school until now in my senior of college sent me a religious email to me and her friends on facebook. She and I are different religions she is Christian and I am Jewish. I felt the email was not ok to send someone who was a different religion because it was talking about Jesus Christ and the holy spirit. I sent her a separate private email though facebook saying I don't push my religious ideas on your so please do not it to me. As polite as I can be she said every was ok. Then I turn around on her original facebook email she was talking about me on her thread. It was in a bad way. Talking how I am jew and how she can't holy spirit leads her to look me these email. I was horrified that she would talk about me everything except using my name in the message. I was debate at the point to clip her out my life like cancer. I talked one my good friends from school who is really religious we will call her "B". I didn't want to make irrational decision to delete this girl sent me the email. However, after talked to B she told me what I already know to delete this other as pal. I went on and deleted this girl. The religious girl called me last night and left me a message. I decide to deleted the voice message before I hear. Did I do the right thing by deleting my ex pal's voice message without hearing her out? Honestly I feel like did the right thing but I just want to look other people's opinion. Sorry if it confusing and long.

Open Question: do you find it insulting when people try to justify them selves with anything less then God Jesus Christ?

im just asking, because it seems like allot of people that reject God do this... i guess they got to hold onto something? it only really bothers me when they project it onto me. like i have to be justified by something other the God, which isnt true. it just nice of pisses me off that people give me attention for my good actions, when in the end of things its nothing, and it can not by any means clear my sins. like when i was in AA, how people did so in sobriety, but laughed at the idea of Jesus... ya, well, i found out about them.. let me tell you something, there is no top to that mountain

Open Question: do you know the Lord Jesus Christ?

He created you and i to worship Him, and sin destroyed our relationship and understand of our Creator and because of Sin we were separated from Jesus Christ (Jesus Is God in Flesh) our possess Creator came to earth to redeem us and on the Cross He took our punishment on the Cross for us and died for our sins in our place and took the wrath of God on the Cross for us so that we dont have to, but we deserve it, i do but Christ saved me from it. and He then rose again the third day defeating death and giving a new life to those who put there faith in Him and they are born again believers. Surrender your life to your Creator, He loves you so much and Came to die for your sins in your place and to give you His Righteousness because we have none and there is nothing we can do to receive to heaven, our good person, works, faith plus works, nothing will receive us in Heaven accept Christ Alone. Please surrender your life down to the one who died for you and put your faith only in Christ alone cause only He can keep you, sob out to Him today and today be the day of your salvation. after that read your bible daily and obey it and find a good christian church

Open Question: Christians, why don't you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ?

Matthew 6:5-8 "5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they adore to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast close thy door, pray to thy dad which is in secret; and thy dad which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your dad knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." Why do so many Christians ignore this part of Jesus' teachings? Jesus is specifically saying you should pray alone. Also, why does Jesus say to pray what is in you heart and not just rote recitation and then verses 9-13 is the Lord's Prayer..isn't he telling them to do exactly what he just told them not to do?. Speaking of the Lord's Prayer....again, Jesus said not to say the same prayer just from recitation, so why do Christians chant the Lord's Prayer so much, in direct violation of an instruction from Jesus? Also, why do so many Christians receive divorced for other reasons besides adultery when Jesus says that is the only valid reason. Bonus question: Why should I follow any other teachings of Jesus if an overwhelming majority of Christians (I'm willing to say none actually) follow every of his teachings? @TKA: Because they actually do pray in public..I mean you've heard of churches right? Are you saying Christians don't pray in public? @Chris: But why does it matter what their motivation for praying in public is? Jesus specifically says "Don't pray in public". Are you saying it's ok to disobey Jesus as long as you have a good motivation for doing so like "bringing it to the public"? I am not trolling, I am just asking questions about the inconsistencies I look in Christianity and I'm hoping someone can explain them to me.

Open Question: 2012, a new cycle of Life? 2018 Jesus's Returning?

The mayans did not want us humans to think that the world is going to end.. But a new a way of life is going to be formed.. It says in the bible, there will be a seven year reign of the anti christ, where he will control every nations. But, Keep up with me atheists and christians, 70 years after the death of Jesus Christ, "Israel" ceased to be a nation ( Israelites were crucified ) till "1948" Now if you add 70s years to to 1948, you receive 2018. 'I think 2011 the anti will show himself, and The world right now.. is moving towards a one world goverment at the moment. If you don't believe me.. do some research.. Keep UP WITH ME- I also think that 2012, we will be introduced by Intelligent lifeforms that will arrive down, and bring us cures, and inventions, and tell us That us humans were genetically engineered by the "Neanderthal" with their gene pool. The majority of you guys will believe it.. but It's a LIE' Remember 2011, will be where the anti christ introduction to the world , he will reign for 7 years, then 2018.. JESUS WILL RETURN. I want every of you guys to read whats up there first, and tell me what you think. I do not want any rage/ or your stupid comments.. Open Question: To True Christians, 1 John 5:3 What does it mean to you?

"For this is what the adore of God means, that we observe his commandments and they are not burdensome." A true Christian reads the Bible. How many times have we read this scripture? Do we obey what God commands us to do in his Word the Bible? He gives us clear and loving instructions in the Bible. We should every strive to read it everyday. For those who are serious Christians, what does this scripture mean to you? Are you glad serving God? Do you do it whole-souled or do you only pay attention to God on Sundays? Do you show adore for neighbor and preach about God's Kingdom and his promises, These are commands from God and his Son Jesus Christ. Are we showing loyal obedience? Look in the mirror. Any opinions or comments. Let's every strive to do better. Jehovah God only deserves our best. Don't you agree?

Open Question: Love never fails, What does this mean to you?

People have treated adore so cheaply. It's disgusting. Why is it people let it go so easily. The greatest test of adore is how much you are willing to battle for it. Where is our will to battle to keep adore alive? We every have gotten so greedy and so greedy. How do you think God feels when he looks at us? I mean he has always taken care of us. For those who have food, clothing, shelter, and a relationship with him. What else do we really need? There are many people who are glad just to have warm meal or to have a bed to snooze in at night. Why can't we be empathetic to these people instead of walking around like we are better than them? If we strive to look for the good in people, we will find that people do have good hearts in them. Let's every receive our heads out of the sand and battle for adore. Let's be there for people. The second greatest commandment Jesus Christ told us is to adore thy neighbor. What does this mean to you? Any opinions or comments.
